| Your parents are most likely the people you see the most, but getting gifts for them can be a challenge. Freshman Dani Motsinger says that her dream gift to get her parents for Christmas is “a way to get away from their family.” She thinks that a tropical get-away is the thing her parents need most. This gift isn’t realistic for a 14-year-old to get her parents, so what she wants to actually get her parents this year is a custom puzzle with her parents and siblings name on it.
Friends can be one of the trickiest people to give gifts for. Dakota Roberts chose to give her friends a very meaningful gift this year. She’s getting them little Lego sets with their favorite animal or an animal that reminds her of them! When asked what her dream gift is to get her friends, Dakota wants to keep it simple. She says that she would give all of her friend’s vinyls of their favorite artists. Dakota has shown us that meaningful gifts are the way to go when shopping for their friends! (And also, since several of the author’s friends write for, edit, or read The Pawprint, sorry for spoiling your presents!) Shopping for your boyfriend can be stressful, but Paige Burnett knows exactly what to get hers. This year, Paige is going to get her boyfriend a jersey, a hat, and Legos. When Paige was asked what her dream gift to get her boyfriend was, she said she would get him sports or concert tickets. What you can learn from these students is that personalized gifts are the way to go. If you want to blow away your loved ones, show them how much you care by putting the effort in to get them what they love best! |
