After years of losses to our longtime rival East Central, everyone was bleeding green as our boys on the field brought home a huge win Friday night. Harrison football won a close game with a final score of 35 to 28. The notable plays were when Dickie Engel, game MVP, threw a touchdown to Preston Flick in the first quarter, and when Cole Kupps ran for a touchdown in the 2nd quarter. After halftime, Dickie Engel ran for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter, and threw a touchdown to Josh Adelsperger in the 4th quarter, winning the game.
The crowd let the players know how they felt with a joyful surge to the field after the game. Congrats to the team, the coaches, and it’s a great day to be a Wildcat!
