Harrison footbal won big on Friday night, a great end to an amazing season. Friday night was senior night, and the seniors had an ideal end to the regular season as they won the SWOC title. Before the game, all football, cheerleader, band, and JROTC seniors were honored on the field along with their families.
Key plays in the game were two touchdowns in the first quarter, both thrown by Dickie Engel. The first one was a 60 yard pass to Josh Adelsperger, and the second was a short pass to Travis Raines. In the second quarter Cole Coops ran for both a 5 and an 8-yard touchdown. Engel also threw a 5-yard touchdown to Jack Piepmeier, for an exciting end to the first half. In the third quarter, Engel threw a 12-yard touchdown to Piepmeier to end a night that the graduating seniors will remember for a long, long time.
