
Diamond Oaks Career Campus is a 2-year program that can help students start on their career path for the future. Students have a variety of different career paths to pick from. There are numerous programs such as cosmetology, dental assisting, digital arts, culinary, health tech, vet tech, IT and many more. If you are a sophomore or junior, you can sign up for one of the programs for your Junior or Senior year.
The school day begins at 7:45 and ends at 2:18 for the students at Diamond Oaks. If students are unable to drive, a bus will pick them up at around 7:10 at William Henry Harrison High School. The program offers many learning opportunities for students including labs for the students. The Juniors have labs in the morning while the Seniors have labs in the afternoon.
In the IT (Information Technology) program you will learn about the fundamentals of hardware and software as well as information about networking and network security. After taking this course in high school, you can go right into 4 of the 5 courses that the field of IT offers. The only exception to this is If you wanted to get into cybersecurity you would need to take an additional year in college for it.
