Have you ever wanted to try The Whippy Dip’s fall menu, but you’re not sure if it tastes good? Well, I’m here to give you my view on these sugar-loaded treats, and spoilers: you’re going to love it.

I love ice cream, and as soon as I saw that Whippy Dip had a new fall menu, I knew I wanted to review it. But there was just one problem. How would I reach out to the Whippy Dip? To do that, I did some digging and discovered they had social media like Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. On Facebook Messenger, I sent them a message explaining who I was and what my article was about and hoped for a response. They immediately responded with excitement about my article and that they’d be happy to put together a complimentary sample platter and also give me 25% off a full-sized item! We concluded on the date being set for Monday.
Marching through the rain past the construction site and the roundabout got me completely drenched, but I forgot all of that when I saw the sample platter they prepared for me. First up on our sample platter is the Hunkin’ Pumpkin which is overfilled with pumpkin ice cream, drizzled with fudge all around, and sprinkled with crushed up graham crackers. Upon the first try, I noticed there was a chocolate-cinnamon taste with undertones of pumpkin in there. Besides it from being messy and getting all over me and the table a little bit, it gets a 7/10.
Secondly is Ode to Joe. Ode to Joe has vanilla ice cream in the cup with fudge and caramel drizzled in there with

Heath pieces sprinkled on top. (For those who don’t know what Heath is, it’s an English Toffee Bar). Tasting Ode to Joe was like heaven to me; it’s a party between fudge, caramel and toffee that wins a solid 9.5/10. Speaking of Ode to Joe, I interviewed Ms. Fullhart of her thought on it; she said that she’s a fan of anything caramel, and chocolate and caramel is a good combination, especially the Heath pieces adding to the mix!
Next up is the Toasted S’more! This was insane to look at. It’s got vanilla ice cream with graham crackers inside, fudge drizzled around the cup, and a toasted marshmallow on a stick! To be honest, it truly tasted like a s’more, and it deserves a good 8/10.
The Pumpkin Soft Serve is a twist between pumpkin and vanilla ice cream, and it’s like a pumpkin pie right in front of you! The rating would be a 7/10.
Finally, is the Frozen Hot Chocolate. It has whipped cream with chocolate drizzle and a chocolate malt liquid consistency. It doesn’t taste like hot chocolate at first, but the taste is there when you really get sipping on it. You’d probably have to stir the stuff inside the cup to truly get that hot chocolate taste. It’ll get a 6/10.
One question remains; whose idea was it to feature such fun fall finds? I went up to the front window and asked one of the staff members whose idea it was, and she said that it was her manager, Callie’s, idea. These ratings are what I think personally, but you can head on down to the Whippy Dip and try it yourself to see if your opinion is different than mine.
