The Friday night lights shone bright on our football team as Harrison won against Mt. Healthy with a score of 49 to 26. Key plays were a magnificent 65 yard running touchdown in the first quarter by Cole Koops. The crowd went wild as Cole stiff-armed two opponents and made it to the end zone. Also in the first quarter, Dickie Engel threw a 22 yard touchdown to Cooper Rotert.
In the second quarter, Cole Koops had another running touchdown, this time 10 yards. Then , Dickie Engel threw 4 yard and 38 yard touchdowns, both to Josh Adelspager. Mt. Healthy also used third quarter to bank their own points, but they couldn’t catch up to the Wildcats, who added to their lead with Ben Markarian’s pick off play that he turned into a 50 yard running touchdown.
Way to go Wildcats! This week, they face Talawanda in our homecoming game.
