Harrison Robotics is celebrating three of their five teams qualifying for the state competition after hosting Saturday’s competition. Harrison has hosted a robotics competition for the last five years, and our competition is known for being on time and well-organized, which is a tribute to faculty adviser Angela Elsasser. 48 teams competed on three fields through a 60 rounds of qualification, and then faced final team selection, where the top 16 teams choose partners. The teams then competed inĀ a single elimination tournament, with a Harrison team making it to the semifinals. Teams also put their robots through their paces on two separate skills fields. Congratulations to all the teams and thanks to all the volunteers who helped make this day such a success!
