Get ready to be scared for a good cause! The drama club’s haunted house comes to life October 28th from 7-10 at the Harrison Community Center.
For over five years, the Harrison High School Drama Club has put on a haunted house fundraiser each October. People have enjoyed this because of how entertaining they are and how these kids work together. The audience has liked it year after year because it shows how much these students like to act. People are seeing how much work and time the kids put into it. The kids know they need to work together to make the magic happen and be good. And this year, they are going to make it happen once again.
The theme for this year’s haunted house is Haunted Dollhouse. In past years, the theme has been Haunted Hospital, Haunted Fairy Tales, and Haunted Circus. The drama club likes to choose a theme because it shows how much they have learned about acting and how they are growing with each production that they do. This fundraiser helps raise money for the CAT Boosters, the organization that supports Drama, Choir, and A Cappella at the high school and junior high.
How scary is it? Over the years, people have said it is scarier than other nearby haunted houses. Be ready for jump scares, creepy scenes, and kids so committed to their haunting that you may leave crying.
So, grab a couple of friends who are ready to get scared with you, and head to the haunted house on October 28th!
