This was a day that many student-athletes dream of as they are slogging through difficult practices in the heat, rain, or snow. On Wednesday, November 15th, eight student athlete seniors took their next steps in life and opened a whole new chapter. Those eight students were Maya Cracchiolo, Morgan Gardener, Natalie Kiefer, Anthony Sedam, Nicholas Sedam, Aden Walls, Jack Ward, and Faith Young.
These students officially signed to continue their sport at a higher level in college. They held an athletic signing ceremony at the activity center with the student’s family members and coaches. The Harrison Press was also in attendance. During this event each student signed a contract agreeing to play their sport at a collegiate level.
Signing ceremonies are a great way to highlight the high level of athletic and academic performance of these students, and the whole school community is proud of them as they go on to represent our core values at the next level.
Maya Cracchiolo signed to play women’s soccer at Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Morgan Gardner signed to play softball at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
Natalie Kiefer signed to women’s track and field at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
Anthony Sedam signed to play baseball at Pensacola State College in Milton, Florida.
Nicholas Sedam signed to play baseball at Pensacola State College in Milton, Florida.
Aden Walls signed to play men’s golf at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio.
Jack Ward signed to play men’s golf at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Congratulations to all of these seniors and good luck in your future in both athletic and academic aspects!
