Not even a hurricane could stop our boys from bringing home a win this weekend. After bad weather and power outages forced the cancellation of Friday Night Lights (including a team meal served by the light of parents’ cell phones), the game was rescheduled for Saturday.
Harrison beat Campbell county with a final score of 49 to 14. Key plays were a magnificent 60 yard touchdown run by Cole Kupps and 20 yard touchdown run by Cooper Rotert both in the first quarter. In the second quarter, Dickie Engel ran for a 2 yard touchdown, and in the third quarter, he threw a 20 yard touchdown pass to Josh Adelspager. There was also a 15 yard fumble recovery touchdown by Hank Rotert. In the fourth quarter, Dickie Engel threw a 25 yard touchdown to Preston Flick. Congrats Football team, and on to Mt. Healthy this week!
