Right now, thrifting is more popular than ever, and Harrison is no exception. In fact, 37.6% of WHHHS students regularly go thrifting, the most popular items bought being tops. With benefits such as less resource consumption, fewer things thrown away, and less chemical pollution, it’s no secret why thrifting is the way to go.
In our school the most popular place to thrift is our local Harrison Goodwill. Just a few minutes away, this is lots of people’s happy place.
However, not everything in our local goodwill is Depop (a popular reselling site) worthy. While people do find luxury items sometimes, much more frequent are weirder, but still wonderful finds. Here are some…interesting finds that were sent in by students and teachers or found by yours truly on one of my frequent thrifting excursions.
