While there are many ways to show people you care about them, during the holiday season, having a thoughtful, useful, fun gift sure goes a long way in to making people feel loved. The thought behind the gifts you give is what matters. Here’s a guide to help the gifts you give be actual good gifts instead of a reflection of your own wants and needs. With this article, you can “win” Christmas this year!
To give a good gift is to take the time and sit down to give yourself a moment to think, what does this person want? how much is my budget? have I asked them what they’re interested in? Here are our top five suggestions through amazon and through our peers at Harrison high school!
Amazon suggested these top 5 things for your loved one’s gift!
- Technology (PlayStation, TV, iPad, Etc.)
- Clothing (pants, yoga pants, Comfy sweaters)
- Decor (fairy lights, fake plants and new bed sheets)
- Entertainment (video games, new movies and boardgames)
- Beauty (Skin care products, make up, face mask)
Top 5 suggestions from Harrison students
- Money/ Gift card. Seems like money is the way to go to make your green Christmas a bit brighter!
- New clothes! Nothing like a fresh fit being your Christmas gift, such a sweater, yoga pants and Uggs!
- Candyyyy, someone got a sugar rush? get them candy for the holidays!
- Room decorations, spruce up your room and make it your own.
- Last but certainly not least is headphones, nothing like jamming out to your music with a new pair of headphones!
However, we have some honorable mention gifts. Gwyn Hill states what she wants for Christmas is “Stranger Things 5 having a good ending!” We all hope that to, Gwyn. Another memorable one is by Jada Wong claiming she would want a Job for Christmas–don’t we all, girl!
Now we went around asking your peers and teachers personal face to face questions.
