The forecast called for light rain, and it sure did deliver. Harrison students didn’t let a little rain ruin one of the best nights of their high school lives, though. As the boat pulled away from the dock, the mood brightened. Bright neon lights filled the dance floor and you could hear music from the first level to the third. The rain quickly became an afterthought to students as friends posed for pictures, danced their hearts out, and made memories they’d talk about for years to come. The BB Riverboat provided the students with an amazing spaghetti dinner that you could smell instantly. As prom came to an end, cheer erupted with the crowning for William Simpson III as Prom king and Kayla Morris as Prom queen. Harrison students truly made prom a night to remember even with the rainy conditions.
